The 'r' has two separate sounds. This depends on whether or not it
is at the beginning of the word. Neither one of these sounds anything
like the 'r' in English.
When it is at the beginning of the
word, it is trilled like the 'rr'.
In any other
case
the 'r' sounds a bit like the 'dd' of the word 'bladder.' Admittedly,
this is another difficult sound. But it's much closer to this 'dd' sound than to
the 'r' sound in English...
